Turkish Airlines has resumed its flight service to Tripoli, the capital of Libya, operating three times a week.
The flights will depart from Istanbul airport to Mitiga International airport at 0800, and Mitiga International airport to Istanbul airport at 1200 on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Sundays. There will also be a flight from Istanbul airport to Mitiga International airport at 1400, and from Mitiga International airport to Istanbul airport at 1800 on Thursdays.
For travel until 13 May 2024, flight prices will begin from US$379 from Istanbul to Tripoli, and from US$299 from Tripoli to Istanbul.

During the inauguration ceremony at Mitiga International airport, Turkish Airlines CEO Bilal Ekşi stated: “As Turkish Airlines, we feel the excitement of connecting continents, this time in Tripoli, the capital of Libya. We are delighted to start flights again to Libya, with which we have historical ties. We will continue to bring cultures together in Africa, as in many continents.”
