The Wisconsin Supreme Court Stages a Gerrymander Coup
Progressive state judges are on a partisan political roll. The four progressive justices ordered the maps redrawn because they violate the state constitution’s requirement that legislative districts be contiguous. Yet the legislative “islands” they fret about contain so few voters that they have no discernible impact on elections. The justices used their existence as a legal excuse.Copyright ©2023 Dow Jones & Company, Inc. All Rights Reserved. 87990cbe856818d5eddac44c7b1cdeb8
