All Nippon Airways confirms winter schedule for Europe – Business Traveller

Star Alliance member All Nippon Airways (ANA) says it has confirmed its flight schedule from Tokyo to Europe this winter. In the schedule for 29 October to 30 March, ANA will continue to serve four European gateways from Haneda, and one from Narita airport. Flights to London’s Heathrow airport from Haneda will operate daily this winter with Boeing 777-300ER aircraft, including first class. Haneda-Frankfurt will remain a double daily operation. Both flights will be operated by the 787-9 Dreamliner, including business, premium economy and economy class. EasyJet adds four new winter routes from UK airports – Business Traveller

Easyjet has announced new winter routes to destinations in France, Switzerland and Austria from three UK airports. The low-cost carrier is launching flights from London Stansted to Geneva and Zurich in Switzerland on 16 December, which will operate twice-weekly throughout the winter season. The carrier will also launch a once-weekly service from London Southend to Grenoble in the French Alps from 14 January, along with one flight a week from Birmingham to Austria’s Salzburg from 13 January. Lufthansa outlines extra London flights for Oktoberfest and winter travel – Business Traveller

Lufthansa has added several routes to its London schedules in the coming months, aimed at travellers wanting to attend Munich’s Oktoberfest or head to skiing resorts. The carrier will operate 11 special services between Stansted and Munich, running from 15 September to 1 October to coincide with the city’s popular Oktoberfest. Schedules are as follows: LH2494 departs Munich at 1805, arriving into Stansted at 1905 (Thursday to Sunday) LH2495 departs Stansted at 1955, arriving into Munich at 2245 (Thursday to Sunday) Fares start from £129 return, and are now on sale. EasyJet adds eight new winter routes from UK airports – Business Traveller

EasyJet has added a total of eight new routes from Belfast, Edinburgh, Glasgow, Liverpool, Luton and Southend airports for this winter. City services include Liverpool-Lyon (commencing 13 December) and Southend-Geneva (from 16 December). The carrier will also offer flights to Hurghada in Egypt from Liverpool (twice-weekly from 29 October), Belfast (weekly from 31 October), Edinburgh ((twice-weekly from 6 November) and Glasgow (twice weekly from 8 November). And there will be twice-weekly services to Rovaniemi – the gateway to Finnish Lapland – starting from Edinburgh on 3 December, and from Luton on 9 December.
