Iberia has outlined plans for long-haul transatlantic services next summer, including a record 328 weekly flights to Latin America. The carrier will further increase frequencies to the United States in summer 2024, with a total of 126 weekly flights to eight destinations. New York and Miami will both see twice daily services from Madrid, alongside daily flights to Chicago, Boston and Dallas, four-times-weekly seasonal services to Washington DC, and thrice weekly seasonal flights to San Francisco. And the carrier’s five-times-weekly service to Los Angeles will increase to daily between June and September 2024, with all of the frequencies being operated by Iberia’s A350 aircraft. Virgin Atlantic is to expand its Grenada route this winter, with a third weekly service operating between 8 December, 2023 and 29 March, 2024. A Friday service will join the carrier’s existing Tuesday and Sunday flights from Heathrow, with all three frequencies routing via Barbados. Earlier this year Virgin added fifth freedom services between Barbados and Grenada, allowing customers to fly between the islands. And next month the carrier will launch flights between Heathrow and Turks and Caicos, in conjunction with the carrier’s existing Montego Bay service (routing Heathrow-Turks and Caicos-Montego Bay).
