Dallas Fort Worth International Airport is definitely growing.The American Airlines hub expects to surpass 80 million passengers this year, a 9% increase over 2022 and a record for the airport, executives say. Amazon says Prime subscribers can now become One Medical members for $9 a month, or $99 a year. X Corp. said it is launching two new subscription tiers, representing the latest effort by Elon Musk to boost the company’s subscription revenues while its advertising business continues to struggle.On Friday, X, formerly known as Twitter, began offering a $16 monthly tier called Premium+, which is more expensive than its previously existing option and offers the benefit of not showing the user ads in the For You or Following feeds. Meta’s New Year of Efficiency Won’t Look Like the Old One

A social-network company serving nearly half the world’s population should be pretty efficient at giving everyone something they want. But that was a particularly tall order for Meta Platforms in its most recent quarter. The parent company of Facebook, Instagram, WhatsApp and new Twitter challenger Threads posted largely strong results for the period late Wednesday. Advertising revenue jumped 24% year-over-year to $33.6 billion, beating Wall Street’s targets. Daily active users both for Facebook and the company’s broader Family of Apps also grew more than analysts had expected.
