Apple Raises TV Streaming Price to $9.99

Updated Oct. 25, 2023 12:21 pm ETApple is raising the monthly price of its TV streaming service to $9.99, joining Netflix, Disney and other companies that have recently increased prices. The iPhone maker is increasing the monthly cost of Apple TV+ by $3, or more than 40%. Spotify Hit All the Right Notes

But as the music streamer’s latest results show, that position isn’t as precarious as it seems. Spotify said Tuesday morning that it added six million new paying subscribers during the third quarter, which was well over the four million the company had forecast three months ago. It projected adding nine million new paying subscribers in the fourth quarter, topping the eight million analysts had been projecting.
