Accused Money Launderer Funded Singapore Luxury Condominiums

A Turkish national arrested in Singapore’s S$1.8 billion ($1.3 billion) money laundering case had financed the purchase of 11 luxury condominium units in upscale neighborhoods of the city-state, according to an affidavit by a police investigator. Vang Shuiming had financed 10 units at Canninghill Piers, which is being built by City Developments Ltd and CapitaLand Development, and one unit at Shun Tak Holdings’ Park Nova. The units are currently under construction and have been served with prohibition of disposal orders.

Singapore Airlines partners with AirPortr luggage collection service at Heathrow T2 – Business Traveller

Singapore Airlines has partnered with luggage collection service AirPortr at Heathrow Terminal 2. Customers living within the M25 perimeter can now have their luggage collected from their doorstep and transferred to Heathrow T2, where it will be checked in. Passengers can then bypass the baggage drop at the airport and head straight for security. The service starts from £28 for one bag pickup from central London (or £33 for two) and the service area is set to cover more locations after the summer period. Customers can book a collection time slot up until 24 hours before departure via the AirPortr website. COMO Metropolitan Singapore to open in September – Business Traveller

COMO Hotels and Resorts is set to launch its first hotel in its home country of Singapore this autumn. COMO Metropolitan Singapore will open in phases from September and occupy 11 floors of the 19-floor mixed-use COMO Orchard building, located at 30 Bideford Road. The hotel will be the first of the spaces in the building to launch and will include 156 rooms and suites, along with a rooftop pool bar for guests.
