Iran’s proxies continue to threaten U.S. assets in the Middle East, and the latest effort comes from the Houthi militia in Yemen. On Sunday the Houthis opened fire on commercial ships in the Red Sea, and a U.S. warship had to respond in self-defense.U.S. Central Command said in a tweet on Sunday that the USS Carney responded to distress calls from commercial ships, while tracking attacks on three different commercial vessels. When the Icon of the Seas sets sail early next year, it will take some time to disappear from the horizon. At 1,198 feet long and a gross tonnage of 250,800, it is hard to miss.The Royal Caribbean cruise ship will have 20 decks packed with more than 20 bars and restaurants, seven pools, nine whirlpools, and six water slides, as well as mini golf, rock climbing and an arcade.
