Saudi’s flynas reveals plans for eVTOL aircraft – Business Traveller

Eve Air Mobility, an urban air mobility company founded by Embraer, has signed an MoU with Saudi carrier flynas to explore the future of electric vertical take-off and landing (eVTOL) aircraft operations in the kingdom. Red Sea Global launches Saudi’s first seaplane company – Business Traveller

Red Sea Global (RSG), the developer behind The Red Sea and Amaala destinations, confirmed this week that it had launched Saudi Arabia’s first seaplane company called Fly Red Sea. A subsidiary of RSG, the company has already operated its first flight. Fly Red Sea’s initial fleet will comprise four Cessna Caravan 208 seaplanes, each equipped with boutique luxury interiors. RSG said that the fleet will expand to nine seaplanes by 2028 and is further expected to increase to more than 20 by 2030. The plane will initially connect to two resorts in The Red Sea’s island including St. Regis Red Sea Resort and Nujuma, A Ritz Carlton Reserve. Saudi’s flyadeal takes possession of 30th aircraft – Business Traveller

Saudi low-cost carrier flyadeal has taken delivery of its 30th aircraft – an Airbus A320 neo – in Toulouse. The ‘keys’ to flyadeal’s latest acquisition named Al Taj (The Crown), were handed over at the European aircraft manufacturer’s delivery centre in southern France. The aircraft, with a registration number of HZ-FBD, then departed with the flyadeal delegation on-board for the five-hour inaugural delivery flight to Jeddah. The 186-seat aircraft offered in a 3-3 all-economy class configuration is the latest of a 30 A320 neo aircraft order placed by parent Saudia Group in 2019 earmarked for flyadeal operations.
