Ryanair to fly from Norwich for the first time – Business Traveller

Ryanair has announced three new summer seasonal routes from Norwich – the airline’s first services from the East Anglian airport. The low-cost carrier will operate a total of 12 weekly flights to and from the airport, with twice-weekly services to Alicante, Faro and Malta from 1 April, 2024. Norwich will be Ryanair’s 22nd UK airport – none of the routes are currently served from the city. The airline will join a handful of airlines currently offering flights from the airport, including KLM’s year-round services to Amsterdam, Loganair’s year-round flights to Aberdeen, Blue Island’s seasonal route to Jersey, and TUI’s seasonal flights to Corfu, Dalaman, Heraklion, Ibiza, Menorca, Palma de Mallorca, Paphos and Rhodes (as well as a year-round service to Tenerife). Ryanair to Pay Dividend in 2024 After Profit Soared

Ryanair launches twilight bag drop service at Manchester airport – Business Traveller

Ryanair has introduced a new twilight bag drop service for its customers taking early flights from Manchester airport. Passengers flying before 0800 can now drop off their bags at the airport between 1900 and 2200 the evening before their flight. The service is free of charge, with customers advised to proceed to the carrier’s check-in desks at Manchester airport’s Terminal 3 as normal, and follow the signage for the ‘Twilight Bag Drop’. Ryanair carries over 18 million monthly passengers for first time – Business Traveller

Ryanair has set a new record for the number of monthly passengers, with 18.7 million customers carried in July. The figure compares to the 16.8 million passengers flown over the same period in 2022. It is also the first time in the airline’s history that it has carried over 18 million customers in one month – the previous record was 17.4 million in June this year. Rolling 12-month passenger figures to the end of July stand at 175.3 million – up 23 per cent on the same stage in 2022. Ryanair recently published its financial figures for the quarter to 30 June, 2023, showing a profit of €663 million for the period – up from €170 million for the same quarter in 2022.
