Norse Atlantic to launch Paris-LA route in May 2024 – Business Traveller

Norse Atlantic has opened ticket sales for its direct route between Paris and Los Angeles, set to launch on 1 May 2024. The six-times-weekly service operated by Boeing 787 Dreamliner aircraft will depart Paris CDG at 1615 and arrive at Los Angeles LAX at 1905. The return flight will depart Los Angeles at 2110 and arrive at Paris at 1700 the following day. One-way fares start from €319 in economy and €665 in Norse Premium, including all taxes. Air Arabia to introduce new route from Abu Dhabi to Lar in Iran – Business Traveller

Low-cost carrier Air Arabia Abu Dhabi has announced the launch of a new route from the capital of the UAE to the city of Lar in Iran. The new direct flights will connect Abu Dhabi International airport to Larestan International airport with a frequency of three weekly flights, starting from September 14, 2023. The route will be operated using the airline’s single-aisle A320 aircraft every Tuesday, Thursday and Friday. Air Arabia Abu Dhabi operates a fleet of 10 Airbus A320 aircraft. Flight 3L 536 will depart from Abu Dhabi at 10.10am and land in Lar at 10.45am. Flight 3L 537 will then take off from Lar at 11.25 and land back in Abu Dhabi at 1.10pm. Thai Airways rosters A350 on new Istanbul route – Business Traveller

Thai flag carrier Thai Airways International (THAI) will commence Bangkok-Istanbul on 1 December, the airline’s latest schedule update reveals. THAI will deploy an Airbus A350-900 on the daily service. The airline has two different A350-900 seat maps. THAI’s original A350 layout has 32 seats in business and 289 in economy. A350s recently delivered have 33 in business and 301 in economy. No matter which configuration you get, business will be in a 1-2-1 configuration with direct aisle access for every passenger, while economy is a comfortable 3-3-3 on both versions. RwandAir to increase nonstop Heathrow-Kigali route to daily – Business Traveller

RwandAir has announced plans to increase its Heathrow-Kigali route to daily from this winter. The carrier has been flying between London and the Rwandan capital since 2017 – firstly serving Gatwick, before switching to Heathrow in 2020. The route initially operated via Brussels, but moved to a nonstop service in November 2022. Air France to replace Delta on Paris-Raleigh Durham route – Business Traveller

Air France has announced plans to launch flights between Paris CDG and Raleigh-Durham airport this winter. The French flag carrier will offer a three-times-weekly Boeing 787-9 service from 30 October, taking over from transatlantic joint venture partner Delta which has operated the route since 2016. Raleigh-Durham become Air France’s 14th US destination, joining Atlanta, Boston, Chicago, Dallas-Fort Worth, Detroit, Houston, Los Angeles, Miami, New York JFK, Newark, San Francisco, Seattle and Washington.
