Riyadh Air signs cooperation agreement with Turkish Airlines – Business Traveller

Saudi national carrier Riyadh Air has signed a strategic cooperation Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Turkish Airlines. Accordingly, Riyadh Air said that guests of both airlines will be able “to take full advantage of each carrier’s worldwide network through a comprehensive interline and codeshare agreement that will allow customers to seamlessly connect between and combine sectors operated by either Riyadh Air or Turkish Airlines.” Although no firm date has been announced as to when this agreement, subject to regulatory approvals, will take effect, the Saudi carrier said that it hopes to activate it “as soon as possible” after it launches its operations in mid-2025. St. Regis Hotels and Resorts has announced the opening of The St. Regis Riyadh in Saudi Arabia. The hotel marks Marriott International’s 500th luxury property globally. The St. Regis Riyadh is the only hotel within the recently launched Via Riyadh development which is home to designer boutiques, fine-dining restaurants and a cinema. Situated at the entrance of the Diplomatic Quarter, the hotel is close to embassies and the central business district too. Flynas to begin flights to Addis Ababa from Riyadh and Jeddah – Business Traveller

Saudi low-cost carrier flynas will launch direct flights to the Ethiopian capital of Addis Ababa from Riyadh and Jeddah starting next month. From October 9, the airline will operate the new route from Riyadh with flights on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays. From October 10 onwards it will begin operating services from Jeddah to Addis Ababa thrice a week on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays. The airline said that the launch of the new destinations is a decision intended to further expand its network in the African market. Apart from Addis Ababa and outside Africa, the airline recently said that it would launch direct flights from Jeddah to Bishkek and Osh in Kyrgyzstan and Almaty in Kazakhstan.
