Marriott International has confirmed that The Ritz-Carlton, Diriyah will welcome its first guests in 2026. The announcement was made during a groundbreaking ceremony for the property this week in Saudi Arabia. The hotel will feature 195 guestrooms including 34 suites along with a specialty restaurant, all-day dining venue, meeting rooms, outdoor pool, and a fitness center. A kids club with the brand’s signature Ritz Kids offering, a spa and other guest amenities will also be offered within the hotel. Marriott International has reached an agreement with Palm Hills Developments to open The Ritz-Carlton Cairo, Palm Hills in Egypt. Part of Palm Hills, a luxury mix-use community in the suburbs of West Cairo, the hotel has views of the Great Pyramids of Giza and the Palm Hills Golf Course. The Ritz-Carlton debuts in Portland – Business Traveller

Marriott has opened the latest US property under its luxury The Ritz-Carlton brand. The 251-room The Ritz-Carlton, Portland is housed within a 140-metre-tall “cystalline tower” in the city’s downtown area, and features a Forest Hall lobby which “mimics the lush landscape of the Pacific Northwest”. Facilities include The Ritz-Carlton Club and signature restaurant Bellpine on the 20th floor, as well as Cloudbreak on Nineteen wellness floor with infinity pool, fitness centre, yoga studio and spa.
