India’s Q2 growth rate highest in world; fundamentals strong: FM Sitharaman

The Lok Sabha had cleared the Bill, which seeks to reserve one-third of all Lok Sabha and Legislative Assembly seats for women, the previous day. Energy: 166 people put on no fly list in last two years

NEW DELHI: Nearly 170 people have been put on no fly list in the last two years for unruly onboard behaviour. Union minister of state for aviation, Gen V K Singh (retd), said in Rajya Sabha on Monday that “166 passengers were put on the ‘no fly list’ from 2021 to August 2023 and banned from taking flights within India for a specific time period for their unruly behavior. Moreover, different airlines logged 18,016 complaints between 2020 and August 2023.”Responding to a query by BJP MP Sushil Kumar Modi on fleet size, the minister said: “The number of aircrafts in India increased from 395 in 2014 to 729 in 2023.
