Travel platform Yatra Online reports Q1 net profit of Rs 5.99 crore

Electricity output sees 1.3% Q1 growth due to unseasonal rains: Govt Data

The country's electricity output witnessed a marginal growth of 1.3 per cent in April-June quarter of 2023, compared to 17.1 per cent in the same period a year-ago, mainly due to unseasonal rains, government data shows. According to the latest Index of Industrial Production (IIP) data, a measure for factory output, electricity output contracted by 1.6 per cent in March and 1.1 per cent in April this year. The electricity output remained almost flat and saw a growth rate of 0.9 per cent in May and improved marginally to 4.2 per cent in June this year. Net profit flat at Rs 1,612 crore; ARPU at Rs 200

Bharti Airtel on Thursday reported a flat consolidated net profit of Rs 1,612 crore in the first quarter (Q1) of 2023-24 (Fy24), compared with Rs 1,607 in the same quarter last year. On a sequential basis, net profit nearly halved from the Rs 3,005.6 crore posted in the fourth quarter of 2022-23. The consolidated revenue for Q1FY24 grew 19 per cent year-on-year (YoY) to Rs 19,746 crore. Ebitda margins improved 271 basis points YoY, reaching 53.7 per cent. Present across 16 countries, Airtel’s overall customer base stood at 529 million.
