Target recalls more than 2 million scented candles after reports of glass shattering during use

Target has recalled about 2.2 million scented candles sold exclusively at its stores because the candles' glass jars may suddenly shatter while the wick is burning. The recall, issued Thursday by the Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC), affects Threshold Glass Jar 5.5 ounce 1-Wick and 20 ounce 3-Wick Candles sold in a variety of scents like Blue Agave & Cactus, Frosted Holly Berries and Pineapple Sage. Manufactured in Vietnam, the candles come in glass jars that can crack or break during use, posing laceration and burn risks, a the recall notice on its website.Target has so far received 19 reports of the jars breaking or cracking during use. Hyundai, Kia recall over 90,000 vehicles over oil-pump fire risk

Otteroo baby neck floats still on sale despite reports of injuries and one infant death

A California company that makes baby neck floats has refused to recall the inflatable devices despite safety warnings from two federal agencies and a report of a baby drowning while using the product, Consumer Reports warned.Since the Otteroo first appeared on the market, the Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) has received 68 incident reports about the inflatable flotation ring designed for babies as young as three weeks. In all cases, the infants had to be rescued by their caregivers, Consumer Reports said. Ford recalls 870,000 F-150 trucks because of potential parking brake malfunction

Ford Motor has recalled about 870,000 F-150 pickup trucks because of a faulty parking brake that could turn on by itself, causing the driver to lose control. The recall includes 2021 to 2023 models of the F-150, according to recall documents posted Friday by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA). Trader Joe's has issued its third food recall in a week, alerting customers on Friday that its Fully Cooked Falafel product may contain rocks.The falafel was sold in stores in 34 states and Washington D.C., the supermarket chain said, noting that unsold boxes of the item at its stores have already been destroyed."If you purchased or received any donations of Fully Cooked Falafel, please do not eat them," Trader Joe's said in its recall notice.
