ChatGPT Creator OpenAI to Pay Politico Parent for Using Its Content 

Updated Dec. 13, 2023 1:01 pm ETNews-publishing giant Axel Springer has inked a multiyear licensing deal with ChatGPT creator OpenAI, a significant milestone as media companies push for compensation for the use of their content in artificial-intelligence tools. Under the agreement, OpenAI will pay to use content from Axel Springer publications, which include Politico and Business Insider in the U.S. and European properties Bild and Welt, to populate answers in ChatGPT and train its AI tools. Seven West Media Names CFO Howard to Replace Warburton as CEO

SYDNEY—Seven West Media said James Warburton will step down as chief executive before the end of the 2024 fiscal year and be replaced by the Australian media conglomerate’s chief financial officer.Seven West on Thursday said that Warburton had advised the company that he intended to quit as CEO and managing director.
