The Biltmore Mayfair is leaving Hilton’s LXR brand – Business Traveller

The Biltmore Mayfair on London’s Grosvenor Square has announced plans to debrand from Hilton’s LXR collection, and will operate independently from 1 May. The 307-room hotel previously operated as the Millennium Hotel London Mayfair until 2019 when it reopened as the Biltmore Mayfair, LXR Hotels & Resorts following an 18-month, £60 million renovation project. It was just the second property to join Hilton’s LXR brand (and the first in Europe), following the rebranding of The St Regis Dubai Al Habtoor City in 2018. The Mayfair Hotel in New York joins Choice’s Ascend Collection – Business Traveller

Choice Hotels International has announced the latest US addition to its Ascend Hotel Collection. The Mayfair Hotel is housed within a seven storey building at 240-242 West 49th Street next to the Eugene O’Neill, Ambassador, Gershwin and Barrymore venues in New York’s Theater District, The hotel has been recently renovated, having closed during the Covid-19 pandemic, and features 77 rooms as well as an onsite restaurant and lounge. The Mayfair Hotel joins the Blue Angel Hotel, The L Hotel and the Insignia Hotel as the fourth property under the upscale Ascend Hotel Collection in New York.
