The Biltmore Mayfair is leaving Hilton’s LXR brand – Business Traveller

The Biltmore Mayfair on London’s Grosvenor Square has announced plans to debrand from Hilton’s LXR collection, and will operate independently from 1 May. The 307-room hotel previously operated as the Millennium Hotel London Mayfair until 2019 when it reopened as the Biltmore Mayfair, LXR Hotels & Resorts following an 18-month, £60 million renovation project. It was just the second property to join Hilton’s LXR brand (and the first in Europe), following the rebranding of The St Regis Dubai Al Habtoor City in 2018. Hilton to debut LXR brand in Italy – Business Traveller

Hilton has announced plans to add the first Italian property under its luxury LXR Hotels and Resorts brand. The existing four-star Grand Hotel Gardone Lake Garda will joins Hilton’s luxury portfolio in 2026, following a multimillion Euro renovation project, which the group said would elevate the hotel’s interiors “while preserving the grand facade”. It’s not clear if the property will remain open during the renovation works – Business Traveller has contacted Hilton for clarification, and will post any response here. When completed the hotel will offer 160 rooms – the majority featuring lake views and private balconies – as well as outdoor swimming pools, two signature restaurants, two bars, a spa, fitness centre and “a majestic ballroom with an expansive terrace overlooking the lake”.
