British Billionaire Strikes Deal to Acquire Minority Stake in Manchester United
Updated Dec. 24, 2023 11:47 am ETBritish billionaire Jim Ratcliffe agreed to buy a minority stake in Manchester United in a deal that values the renowned soccer club at around $6.3 billion including debt and ends more than a yearlong sales process.Manchester United said Ratcliffe will buy 25% of Manchester United’s nonvoting shares, which are listed on the New York Stock Exchange and last traded at close to $20.
