SkyTeam launches hand baggage compliance checker for connecting customers – Business Traveller

SkyTeam has launched a new tool enabling customers to check the hand baggage allowance when travelling on more than one member carrier on one itinerary. Passengers can use the Carry-on Calculator to input their class of travel and the airlines they are flying with, to receive information on the hand baggage policies for each carrier. A recommended allowance is also advised based on the most restrictive carry-on and personal item allowance for every flight, including bag dimensions and maximum weight, to ensure the customer complies with requirements across all stages of the journey. New express bus service launches between Dublin airport and Belfast – Business Traveller

Travellers looking to get between Dublin airport and Belfast now have a new option, with the launch of the Dublin Express bus route. The new service is offering 16 trips per day in either direction, with the first departure from Dublin City and Dublin airport at 0520 and 0600 respectively, and the last services departing at 0010 and 0100. There are stops at Burgh Quay, Westland Row and Custom House Quay in Dublin, as well as a stop outside Dublin airport Terminal 1, and one on Glengall Street in Belfast. Emirates launches private jet on-demand charter service for GCC travel – Business Traveller

Dubai-based carrier Emirates has launched an on-demand regional charter service for customers who want to make short trips in the GCC from Dubai’s Al Maktoum International airport (DWC). Operated by the airline’s Phenom 100 twin-engine aircraft, customers can fly to a range of GCC destinations both within and outside of the existing Emirates network. These include to points in Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Kuwait, Oman and within the UAE itself too.
