Wyndham Grand debuts in South Korea – Business Traveller

Wyndham Hotels & Resorts, the world’s largest hotel franchising company with approximately 9,100 hotels spanning more than 95 countries, has announced the opening of Wyndham Grand Ijin Busan. The 271-room hotel marks the debut of the Wyndham Grand brand into South Korea. Wyndham Grand Ijin Busan is in the country’s second largest city, with rooms and suites overlooking the coastline. The hotel boasts a variety of dining options showcasing local and international cuisine, a spa, heated indoor pool with views of the Namhang bridge and a state-of-the-art fitness center. China Airlines boosts Japan, Korea routes in schedule update – Business Traveller

China Airlines (CAL), the Taiwan flag carrier, will operate up to 180 flights a week to Japan and South Korea in the winter schedule to 30 March. Flights from Taoyuan to Tokyo (Narita) will increase to 24 weekly rotations, while flights from Taipei downtown Songshan airport to Tokyo’s Haneda will run twice a day. CAL will also maintain a daily Kaohsiung-Narita service, equating to up to 45 weekly flights and at least six daily flights to and from Tokyo. The Taoyuan-Kumamoto route launched in mid-September will increase to four weekly flights starting 3 December, while flights from Taoyuan to Fukuoka will go up to 16 flights a week from 2 January. Aeromexico plans South Korea return – Business Traveller

SkyTeam alliance member Aeromexico is looking to restore Mexico City-Seoul Incheon from April 2024. In a preliminary schedule update, Aeromexico flagged daily Boeing 787-8 flights between the Mexican and South Korean capital resuming on 1 April. If the schedule holds, the flights would depart Incheon at 1225 for a same day arrival into Mexico City at 1120 following nearly 14 hours of flying. The Aeromexico 787-8 Dreamliners come in a dual-class configuration, with 32 in business class and 211 in economy class. Business class is configured 2-2-2 and comes with lie-flat seating.
