Hong Kong Airlines expands Japan network – Business Traveller

Hong Kong Airlines will launch two winter season routes to Hakodate and Yonago. Operating from 18 December 2023 to 24 February 2024, these two seasonal services will run four times a week each. Hong Kong Airlines will be the only Hong Kong carrier to serve both destinations. Hakodate, the fifth destination launched by the carrier this year, will see flights operate every Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday. This new route complements the airline’s existing service to Sapporo in Hokkaido. Hong Kong Airlines notes that passengers may start their journeys in Hakodate, then go skiing in Niseko, or visit the hot springs of Lake Toya or Noboribetsu, before wrapping up their adventure in Sapporo. Vistara confirms Hong Kong route – Business Traveller

Vistara, the Indian full-service carrier and a joint venture of Tata group and Singapore Airlines (SIA), has announced daily nonstop flights between Delhi and Hong Kong, starting 29 October. The airline will operate its Airbus A321 neo aircraft featuring a three-class configuration on Delhi-Hong Kong. The flights will depart from Delhi at 2105, arriving in Hong Kong the following morning at 0555. The return flights leave Hong Kong at 0855, arriving back in Delhi ay 1310. The Vistara A321 neos feature 12 lie-flat business class seats configured 2-2, 24 premium economy seats in a 3-3 layout, and 152 standard economy seats, also in a 3-3 configuration. Japan Airlines boosts Hong Kong and US routes – Business Traveller

Oneworld alliance member Japan Airlines (JAL) will increase the frequency on a number of routes from late October. The airline says this is in response to a steady increase in travel demand for both business and leisure customers to and from Japan. JAL highlights that inbound tourism has been “flourishing”, as a result of a weaker yen. From 29 October, JAL will increase Narita-Hong Kong from three to five flights a week. From the same date, Osaka-Los Angeles will go up to five-weekly, from four flights a week currently offered. Langham to open second YING’nFLO property in Hong Kong – Business Traveller

Ying’nFlo, the new no-frills brand from Langham Hospitality Group will open its second Hong Kong property on 1 September on Hennessy Road in Wan Chai, Hong Kong. The 251-room Ying’nFlo, Wesley Admiralty, Hong Kong, towers over the city’s trams and cityscape in the colourful district of Wan Chai. Pacific Place in Admiralty is a few minutes away. Also nearby is Hong Kong’s MTR, and the Hong Kong Convention Centre. This used to be the OZO Wesley Hong Kong hotel. Reservations at Ying’nFlo Wesley are now open for stays from 1 September, with prices starting at HKD1,000, plus 10% service charge a night.
