Jet2 to launch routes to Morocco from six UK airports – Business Traveller

Jet2 has announced plans to serve two Moroccan destinations from winter 2024. The low-cost carrier will offer up to 17 weekly flights to the country from a total of six UK airports, with more than 180,000 seats now on sale. There will be four routes to Marrakech as follows: Birmingham – two weekly flights operating from 4 October, 2024 through to 14 November, 2025 Glasgow – two weekly flights operating from 4 November, 2024 until 28 April, 2025, and from 3 October to 14 November, 2025 Manchester – two weekly flights operating from 4 October, 2024 through to 14 November, 2025 London Stansted – two weekly flights operating from 4 October, 2024 through to 14 November, 2025. Jet2 announces Edinburgh expansion – Business Traveller

Jet2 has announced plans for new routes, additional capacity and extra aircraft at Edinburgh airport. Flights to Chambery have been added for the next two winter ski seasons, with weekly 23/24 services starting on 10 February, 2024, and 24/25 services starting on 21 December, 2024. New summer 2024 schedules to Rome and Malta have also been released, with twice weekly flights to the Italian capital starting on 8 March, 2024, followed by weekly services to Malta from 1 May next year. And for winter 24/25 there will be twice weekly flights to Prague operating between 3 October, 2024 and 27 March, 2025. EasyJet and Jet2 add twilight bag drop at Glasgow airport – Business Traveller

Glasgow airport has introduced a new Twilight Bag Drop service, available to easyJet and Jet2 customers. The airport says that passengers flying from the airport before 0830 can now check in their luggage between 1630 and 2100 the day before, allowing them to head straight for security on the morning of their flight. Note that a separate press release from easyJet says that the Glasgow twilight service opens at 1600. To avail of the service customers must complete check-in and have their boarding pass and passports with them. The lead booker must also be present when the luggage is being checked in.
