IHG Hotels and Resorts has announced the opening of Holiday Inn Jeddah Corniche in Saudi Arabia. Part of IHG Hotels & Resorts ‘Essentials Collection’, Holiday Inn Jeddah Corniche is a new-build beachfront property. It is located a 20-minute drive from King Abdulaziz International airport and is just a short walk from the Jeddah Flagpole. The property will soon operate a ‘Rent a Car’ facility to provide guests with airport pick-up and drop-off services. It houses 148 rooms and suites spanning six floors. Flynas to begin new flight between Jeddah and Ankara – Business Traveller

Saudi low-cost airline Flynas will launch a direct weekly flight between Jeddah and Ankara starting 7 November. The airline said that the decision to introduce the new flight was made to meet the objectives of the kingdom’s Pilgrims Experience Program (PEP) to facilitate access to the Two Holy Mosques and the National Civil Aviation Strategy to enable national air carriers to contribute to connecting Saudi with 250 international destinations and to reach 330 million passengers by 2030. Flynas to begin flights to Addis Ababa from Riyadh and Jeddah – Business Traveller

Saudi low-cost carrier flynas will launch direct flights to the Ethiopian capital of Addis Ababa from Riyadh and Jeddah starting next month. From October 9, the airline will operate the new route from Riyadh with flights on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays. From October 10 onwards it will begin operating services from Jeddah to Addis Ababa thrice a week on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays. The airline said that the launch of the new destinations is a decision intended to further expand its network in the African market. Flynas expands destination network from Jeddah – Business Traveller

Saudi low-cost carrier flynas has announced the launch of direct flights from Jeddah to Bishkek and Osh in Kyrgyzstan and Almaty in Kazakhstan. Starting August 20, flynas will commence flights from Osh, the second-largest city in Kyrgyzstan, to Jeddah. Subsequently, on September 2, it will launch flights from Bishkek, the capital of Kyrgyzstan, to King Abdulaziz International airport in Jeddah. Both these routes will operate with three weekly direct flights, resulting in a total of six weekly flights between the two cities.
