U.S. Presses Palestinians to Secure Gaza After Israel Leaves

RAMALLAH, West Bank—National security adviser Jake Sullivan Friday pressed Palestinian leaders to help provide security for the postwar Gaza Strip, Palestinian officials said, a day after pushing Israel to end active combat against Hamas by the end of 2023.  The U.S. is looking for a Palestinian-led force to take over in Gaza with contributions from Arab neighbors once Israel pulls out.
