Edinburgh airport installs 40 electric vehicle chargers – Business Traveller
Edinburgh airport has installed new electric vehicle charging points across three of its car parks, as part of a Low Carbon Energy Project.
A total of 40 EV chargers have been installed, including five in the airport’s FastPark valet parking option, enabling passengers to book to have their car plugged in while they are away and return to a fully charged vehicle.
Another 15 22kWh chargers are now located in the Terminal Parking facility close to the multi-storey car park (with a maximum stay of 24 hours) – and finally 20 7kWh chargers have been installed in the Plane Parking facility, where there it no time limit for use.
According to the airport’s official X (formerly Twitter) feed, EV charging costs £0.55 per kwh plus a £1 connection fee.
