Queens car crash on Christmas morning erupts into bloody knife fight

Tensions over a Christmas morning fender bender in Queens erupted into a bloody knife fight, according to an eyewitness. “It escalated big,” said the witness, who lives near the scene of the gruesome stabbing that left a 28-yer-old man in critical condition. The local man, who asked that his name be withheld, said he heard a crash near the intersection of 9th Ave. and 125th St. in College Point around 5:30 a.m. Monday and looked outside to find two groups of men arguing around a red car and a white SUV. At one point the 28-year-old passenger of the SUV drew a knife and began egging his rivals from the red car into a fight, the witness recounted.
