Eurostar unveils new brand campaign, with a single website, app and loyalty programme – Business Traveller

Eurostar has launched its new brand identity under the slogan ‘Together we go further’, highlighting its expanded network following the merger with Thalys earlier this year. While the merger officially took place in May 2022, Eurostar has now unveiled a single website and mobile app, where customers can book connections across mainland Europe, as well as a joint loyalty programme under the existing Club Eurostar branding. The website and app now feature the new symbol and logo inspired by l’Etoile du Nord, the original train service linking Paris, Brussels and Amsterdam, which is also a tribute to the first Eurostar logo. Eurostar announces ski service to the Alps – Business Traveller

Eurostar has announced a new ski service from London to the Alps via Lille, set to launch on 16 December. ‘Eurostar Snow’ will transport travellers from St Pancras International to ski resorts such as Chambéry, Albertville, Moutiers and Aime-La Plagne before arriving in Bourg-Saint-Maurice. The service will run for eight weekends from 16 December until 3 February, with tickets on sale from 0900 on 31 August. Trains will depart London St Pancras International on Saturdays and return from the Alps on Sunday mornings. One-way fares start from £99 in standard and £149 in standard premier for off-peak dates (13 Jan – 4 Feb), increasing to £149 and £199 respectively for peak dates (16 December until 13 January). Eurostar SmartCheck gates now live – Business Traveller

Passengers will then proceed through bag security checks as normal, and will still need to complete one passport check by the French border control before heading to the lounge or boarding the train. How does it work? In order to use the SmartCheck lanes, travellers will need to download the iProov app and complete the registration process, which can be done at home. This is a fairly quick and simple process, which involves using your smartphone to scan your face, upload a photo, and scan the chip in your passport. Passengers are only required to complete this process once and their information will be stored for future journeys.
