Dalata to open first Edinburgh property – Business Traveller
Dalata Hotel Group has announced plans for its first property in the Scottish capital.
Subject to planning permission an existing building on the city’s St Andrew’s Square is set to be extended and converted into a Clayton hotel, with an expected opening date of mid-2026.
The hotel will feature 153 rooms, a bar, restaurant, fitness centre and two large meeting rooms “with stunning period features on the first floor overlooking St Andrew’s Square”.
Dalata also said that the property “will be one of our first to be designed to operate with zero on-site carbon emissions”.
The hotel will be Dalata’s third in Scotland, joining the existing Clayton Hotel Glasgow City and Maldron Hotel Glasgow City.
