Erie Market, which the city took over in 2021, is losing money almost every month amid stiff competition from a Walmart 15 miles away and a Dollar General across the street. LOT Polish to open first US lounge at Chicago O’Hare – Business Traveller

LOT Polish Airlines has begun construction of its first airport lounge outside of Europe. The 617 sqm facility at Chicago O’Hare airport is scheduled to open in late Q3 / early Q4 next year, with the design currently being finalised and a “prestigious architectural firm” having been invited to collaborate on the project. LOT said that the new lounge will have views of the airport apron, with three zones for relaxation, work and catering. The carrier added that there would be “touches reminiscent of Polish tradition through, among other things, the use of amber in the space, as well as cooperation with Polish partners”.
