The Points Plus promotion is offering a bonus of 2,000 points per stay, and an additional 500 bonus points when using the group’s Digital Key service. Virgin launches 50 per cent bonus promotion on Virgin Points purchases – Business Traveller

Virgin has launched a new points bonus promotion for those looking to purchase Virgin Points in the coming days. The offers runs until 18 September, up to the maximum 100,000 points purchase limit per Virgin Red or Virgin Atlantic Flying Club member. Virgin Points normally cost £15 per 1,000 points, meaning members can currently get 1,500 points for the same cost, valuing them at 1p per point. Earlier this month Virgin introduced a new flat rate for Virgin Red and Flying Club members looking to transfer points to family and friends. Members will now pay a flat rate of £10 per transfer, with no limit to the amounts of points which can be moved to another member. Virgin Atlantic and Virgin Red have launched a new offer of bonus Virgin Points for flights booked in the coming days. Flying Club members can earn up to 20,000 bonus points when booking flights up until 4 September, for travel between 1 September, 2023, and 31 May, 2024. Members booking return flights in economy (including Economy Classic and Economy Delight but excluding Economy Light) will earn 5,000 bonus points, while those booking Premium (premium economy) flights will earn 10,000 bonus points. Hong Kong’s Cathay Pacific Airways will reward employees for their support during the pandemic years. In the September payroll, eligible employees will get up to six weeks of extra pay. “The extreme circumstances Cathay faced during the pandemic were unlike anything any other carrier experienced.
