Hilton Honors has launched a new bonus points promotion for members staying in early 2024. The Points Plus promotion is offering a bonus of 2,000 points per stay, and an additional 500 bonus points when using the group’s Digital Key service. To be eligible for the bonus points members must register at hiltonhonors.com/PointsPlus before completing a stay within the promotional period. The offer is valid at any hotel or resort within the Hilton portfolio, and there is no limit to the number of bonus points which can be earned during the promotion (the 500 points for using the Digital Key can only be earned once per stay). Marriott Bonvoy has temporarily doubled the bonus points offer for new holders of its UK Marriott Bonvoy American Express Card. New cardholders can normally earn 20,000 bonus Marriott Bonvoy points when spending £3,000 in the first three months, but this has been doubled to 40,000 for applications made by 14 November, 2023. Cardholders also benefit from 15 elite night credits (enough to get Silver Elite Status) as well as an upgrade to Gold Elite status when they spend £15,000 on the card in a year, and a free night award when spending £25,000 in an anniversary year. Virgin has launched a new points bonus promotion for those looking to purchase Virgin Points in the coming days. The offers runs until 18 September, up to the maximum 100,000 points purchase limit per Virgin Red or Virgin Atlantic Flying Club member. Virgin Points normally cost £15 per 1,000 points, meaning members can currently get 1,500 points for the same cost, valuing them at 1p per point. Earlier this month Virgin introduced a new flat rate for Virgin Red and Flying Club members looking to transfer points to family and friends. Virgin Atlantic and Virgin Red have launched a new offer of bonus Virgin Points for flights booked in the coming days. Flying Club members can earn up to 20,000 bonus points when booking flights up until 4 September, for travel between 1 September, 2023, and 31 May, 2024. Members booking return flights in economy (including Economy Classic and Economy Delight but excluding Economy Light) will earn 5,000 bonus points, while those booking Premium (premium economy) flights will earn 10,000 bonus points.
