The Grand Brighton to auction contents ahead of refurbishment – Business Traveller
The Grand Brighton hotel is set to auction furniture from its guest bedrooms, ahead of a planned refurbishment project early next year.
As previously reported, the iconic seafront property has recently been acquired by Fattal Hotel Group, owner of the NYX and Leonardo brands.
Refurbishment works will begin in January 2024, and the hotel has partnered with hospitality auctioneers Pro Auction to offer various items of furniture for sale “at a fraction of the cost”.
Listed items include dressing and writing tables, Spoonback chairs, sofa beds, lamps, mirrors, drapes, cabinets and headboards.
The first phase of the auction will take place on 19 December, with subsequent sales happening every five weeks from March 2024.
