Royal Jordanian announces routes to London Stansted and Manchester – Business Traveller

Royal Jordanian Airlines is expanding its global network with the launch of two new routes to the UK. The oneworld member airline will introduce direct routes between Amman in Jordan to London Stansted and Manchester from March 2024, with a flight duration of approximately five hours. RJ will offer four weekly flights to London Stansted from 3 March, 2024 followed by three-times-weekly flights to Manchester on 6 March, 2024. Located on the shores of Al Sifah, an hour away from Muscat, ENVI Al Sifah will open in late 2025 and will be situated on a preserved beach where a lush wadi meets the sea. Hainan Airlines will operate daily flights from Manchester airport to Beijing next summer. The direct service linking Manchester and China’s capital currently runs four times weekly, but will increase to daily service from June to September 2024. The flights will be operated by two-class Airbus A330 aircraft, departing at 1215 each day, with tickets already on sale. The owner and operator of Belfast International has announced plans to invest £100 million in the airport over the next five years. VINCI Airports said that the investment would enhance the airport’s operational and environmental efficiency, with work already underway to construct a new £25 million security building next to the existing terminal.
