‘Here Comes Honey Boo Boo’ star Anna Cardwell dead at 29

Anna “Chickadee” Cardwell, a reality TV personality who appeared on “Here Comes Honey Boo Boo,” has died from cancer.

She was 29 and had experienced complications from terminal stage 4 adrenal carcinoma, according to TMZ. She was diagnosed last January.

June “Mama June” Shannon announced her daughter’s death in an Instagram post on Sunday.

“She passed away in my home last night peacefully at 11:12 PM. She gave one hell of a fight for 10 months she passed away with her family around,” she captioned of photo of the family.

Cardwell sporadically made social media updates about her condition, including once in May about her latest round of chemotherapy.

Cardwell shared two daughters, Kaitlyn Elizabeth and Kylee Madison, with husband Eldridge Toney.

Alana “Honey Boo Boo” Thompson also memorialized her older sister on Instagram.

“Now as a family we all know she is at peace now,” she captioned the same photo of the family. “I really don’t know what to say as my heart is completely broken. Watching my 29 year old sister this last year battle this horrible disease hasn’t been easy.”

“We ask for prayers for the family during this difficult time as they try to process this great loss and make arrangements,” Gina Rodriguez, the family’s manager, said in a statement, according to CNN.

“Here Comes Honey Boo Boo” ran from 2012 to 2014 on TLC and chronicled the day-to-day activities of the family. The family had previously appeared on “Toddlers & Tiaras.”
