Eurozone Inflation Slowed More Than Expected in October

Inflation eased more than expected in the eurozone in October as energy prices dropped.

The bloc’s consumer price index—a measure of the cost of goods and services—rose 2.9% on year, slowing from 4.3% the previous month, according to preliminary data published by European Union statistics agency Eurostat on Tuesday.
