ENVI Lodges announces second resort in Oman – Business Traveller

Luxury ecolodge brand and management company ENVI Lodges has announced plans to add a second property to its portfolio in Oman.

Located on the shores of Al Sifah, an hour away from Muscat, ENVI Al Sifah will open in late 2025 and will be situated on a preserved beach where a lush wadi meets the sea.

It will feature 40 luxury tents created by Tenthouse Structures, each designed to withstand the coastal climate while providing natural ventilation.

The ecolodge, owned by a consortium of Omani investors, will include facilities such as a restaurant serving seafood and locally sourced cuisine, a wellness centre, a swimming pool, a kids’ club, and an activities centre.

Outdoor spaces will be designed for fireside theme nights and will include an open-air beach cinema too.

Guests can partake in dhow restoration and cooking workshops, meditation and yoga sessions, as well as kayaking, snorkelling, hiking, and also discover the nearby Bandar Khayran beach.

ENVI Lodges said that it would implement eco-friendly practices into the property, including renewable energy sources, water conservation, recycling, and waste management programmes.

In an effort to engage and support local communities, it will rehabilitate a nearby children’s playground.

ENVI Lodges co-founder Noëlle Homsy said, “ENVI Al Sifah represents a harmonious blend of an adventure wadi experience and a serene beach retreat in a single ecolodge. We are fortunate to have access to this unique site, where the raw, unspoiled beauty of the Omani coastline meets the rich biodiversity of the wadi, creating a space that offers both excitement and tranquillity.”

The announcement of the second property comes weeks after ENVI confirmed its entry into the sultanate with mountain ecolodge ENVI Al Jabel Al Akhdar.

In the neighbouring country of Saudi Arabia, in June, ENVI Lodges revealed a first glance of its upcoming debut property in Saudi Arabia. ENVI Al Nakheel is a luxury sustainable lodge in Saudi Arabia’s UNESCO World Heritage listed Al Ahsa Oasis. Scheduled to open next year, the brand’s launch project is being constructed in a traditional date-palm farm and will offer 25 eco-lodging pods with one- and two-bedrooms, as well as an arrivals pavilion, a farm-to-table dining concept, café, spa, kids’ club, and swimming pool.
