Global lifestyle hospitality company Ennismore has outlined plans to unveil 18 new hotels in 2024, adding more than 5,600 rooms to its portfolio.
Forthcoming openings include 25hours Hotel The Oddbird, Jakarta; The Hoxton, Vienna; 25hours Hotel Paper Island in Copenhagen; Mama Shelter Nice, SLS Barcelona; Mama Shelter Dubai Business Bay; JO&JOE Budapest; Hyde Perth; Hyde Bodrum; Rixos Golden Horn, Istanbul; and Rixos Obhur Jeddah.
The group is also set to open two new properties in London and Edinburgh early next year.
As previously reported Hyde London City will be housed within the redeveloped 15 Old Bailey.
Located close to St Paul’s and City Thameslink stations, and on the same street as The Central Criminal Court of England and Wales (commonly known as the Old Bailey), the Victorian architecture property was built in 1874, and was formerly home to the first London hotel with electric lighting.
The new hotel will feature 11 rooms, and will “pay homage to the building’s storied past while creating intimate, unexpected spaces that encourage meaningful connection and spark the joy of discovery”.
Meanwhile The Hoxton, Edinburgh will offer 211 rooms across “ten stitched-together townhouses” in the city’s Haymarket district.
Ennismore is a joint venture between Accor and India born entrepreneur Sharan Pasricha. This summer the group launched a paid-for Dis-loyalty scheme giving members access to discounts on hotels stays and dining.
