Bronx man dies after being stabbed in groin: NYPD

A man died after he was stabbed in the groin during a Bronx clash, police said Wednesday.

Cops responding to a 911 call of an injured man found the 30-year-old victim unconscious near the corner of E. 170th St. and Morris Ave. —  about two blocks from Claremont Park — just before 7 a.m. Tuesday.

The man was bleeding from the groin area, cops said.

EMS rushed the victim to a BronxCare Health System hospital, but he could not be saved. His name was not immediately disclosed as cops track down family members.

His attacker ran off. A motive for the attack was not immediately disclosed and no arrests have been made.

Cops were scouring the area Wednesday looking for surveillance footage that can help them identify the attacker.
