Thai Airways has partnered with silk brand Jim Thompson for its latest amenity kits for Royal Silk (business class) passengers.
The bags have been created with biodegradable fabric and come in six different designs, each paired with a “velvety-soft” eye mask in a coordinating design.
The six Jim Thompson prints draw inspiration from Thai culture and natural beauty. Bupha is inspired by the Dendrobium orchid; Mini Elephants pays homage to the Thai elephant; Porcelain nods to the historical connection between Portugal and China; Amphawa is inspired by canal homes and floating markets in Samut Songkhram; Royal Garland echoes the tradition of crafting garlands as symbols of good fortune in Thai culture; and Yatra showcases the grandeur of elephant processions.
Contents include a biodegradable toothbrush, socks, aromatherapy roller, lip balm and hand lotion. The amenity kits are available to passengers on flights over four hours, except for those operated with A320 aircraft.
