Taylor Swift returned to New Jersey’s MetLife Stadium on Sunday night, this time in the stands rather than onstage to cheer on her apparent new squeeze, NFL tight end Travis Kelce.
She was seen on camera arriving just before 8 p.m. Sunday in advance of the 8:20 p.m. kickoff.
She herself graced the stage in East Rutherford, N.J., in May for her Eras Tour. The powerhouse songstress was there Sunday to watch her rumored paramour play with his Super Bowl-winning Chiefs against the New York Jets.
While the two have been tightlipped about any romance, Swift was seen enthusiastically cheering for Kelce from his private luxury box at Arrowhead Stadium in Kansas City last Sunday alongside his parents as the Chiefs trounced the Chicago Bears 41-10. Photos of her jumping up and grinning went viral, and the two are rumored to be “excited about where things are headed,” an insider recently told Entertainment Tonight.
That seemed borne out as after the Bears game, with the 33-year-old singer reportedly sitting on Kelce’s lap during a private dinner he threw after the victory. They also held hands, sources said.
Since then, rumors have swirled about Swift’s potential attendance at Sunday’s game. She turned heads in New York City the night before the game as she and several girlfriends stepped out to dinner at Emilio’s Ballato, an Italian restaurant, People reported. The party included Sophie Turner, Blake Lively and Swift’s older sister Robyn. Also along for the four-hour dinner was Brittany Mahomes, who is married to Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes.
