We started our tour by exploring the Sunset Lawn, which sits high at the property’s entrance and has a panoramic ocean view. The space can hold up to 250 people standing or 150 seated.
2/12
Next, we saw the seating area outside of The Restaurant at Hotel Wailea. A group of lanterns hover above, and light streams in through the skylight.
3/12
Just past the lobby area, the Birdcage Bar boasts 180-degree views from the seating along the rail. Cozy couch configurations fill the rest of the space. A live musician performs on Thursday, Friday and Saturday during sunset.
4/12
Bays offer paired seating with just enough space to feel private. These overlook over a corridor connecting the restaurant and lobby.
5/12
The pool area feels peaceful and is equipped for ultimate relaxation with easy access to shade, cocktails and food.
6/12
These are the steps that take guests down from the Birdcage Bar; another flight down leads to the pool area. The pillared stonework continues throughout the property, and views from any part of the hotel are breathtaking.
7/12
The cabanas are first-come, first-serve, and the Cabana Bar is open for poolside service at 10 a.m. Guests may reserve a cabana in advance for a fee.
8/12
We got to see a view like no other at the gym. Besides the state-of-the-art equipment, the fitness center also offers complimentary yoga classes.
9/12
The design in the rooms is rooted in natural, strong elements with pops of vibrant color that keeps the style current.
10/12
Guests enjoying the Treehouse dining experience are driven in a cart down a little path to the foot of this unique event space, which is nestled in a grove of mango and avocado trees. There, they will enjoy a personal server and a chef that prepares the seven-course meal on-site.
11/12
The cathedral ceilings and floor-to-ceiling windows make the Anuhea Room a memorable event space. It fits 120 guests when including the adjoining terrace space.
