Manchester’s new boutique hotel Forty-Seven will open its doors on 18 August, located within the Grade-II listed Lancashire House at 47 Peter Street.
The 32-room hotel, which was originally set to open in summer 2022, offers 32 rooms and suites along with ground-floor Indian restaurant Asha’s and the lower-ground The Peterman cocktail lounge, serving drinks inspired by some of the city’s most-loved areas.
Interiors include a bold design scheme with rich patterns and textures which nod to its location as well as the architectural heritage of the building, which was formerly used as a shopping warehouse.
Rooms range from 15 sqm to 30 sqm and are “curated with sleep and relaxation in mind”. Features include secondary-glazed windows with blackout blinds and curtains, plus premium linens, vegan bedding and a luxury pillow menu so guests can choose their preferred head support. Bluetooth speakers are also available, should guests want to play sleep podcasts and white noise, and there’s mood lighting installed as well.
Further amenities include L’Occitane toiletries, a Smart TV, a minibar, super-fast wifi, an illy coffee machine, iron, hairdryer and luxury robes.
